Statement
There are few, if any cities in the world that have the wealth of impressive, beautiful and moving monuments as Washington D.C. Photographing Washington is the ultimate challenge because virtually everything you photograph is captured hundreds of thousands of times each week by the throngs of tourists that are everywhere. But the beauty of Washington must be recorded. Trying to find a new perspective or approach to the capital city is not easy, which makes it a constant challenge. Living in the area provides a major benefit over what the tourist photographer faces. I like to return over and over again to totally familiar locations in the hopes that the weather, or time of day, or atmospheric conditions or even my own attitude or mood might present the gift of something just a little bit different.
Print Information
My photographs are available as individually signed, fine art prints in various sizes. Each photograph is personally printed by me using archival, pigmented inks, on paper chosen for its archival properties as well as its ability to enhance the aesthetic quality of the photograph. A Certificate of Authenticity, providing all relevant information about the photograph, the materials used and the artist accompanies each print.
I am able to meet the needs of the photography collector as well as art consultants, who might be seeking very large prints for a corporate boardroom, a non-profit organization or the health care industry.
