ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Multiple Exposures Gallery (MEG) is pleased to present LIVING GEOMETRY, Anice Hoachlander’s new fine art photography exhibition that looks closely at the natural world to reveal patterns, rhythms, and structures that often go unnoticed. LIVING GEOMETRY draws on Hoachlander’s decades of experience as a professional architectural photographer and her deep appreciation for structure, proportion, and the visual order of the built environment.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Anice Hoachlander is a fine artist and architectural photographer whose work explores the relationship between structure, light, and the natural world. For more than 30 years, she has worked as a professional architectural photographer in the Washington, DC region, developing a deep appreciation for geometry, proportion, material, and spatial rhythm.
Over the past four years, Hoachlander has developed a fine art practice, bringing the visual discipline of architectural photography to the natural world. Her work reveals the patterns, rhythms, and structures found in nature, often transforming organic forms into compelling studies of space and form.
Hoachlander has presented three DC Metro area solo exhibitions in the past two years, and her work is currently included in Seeing America in Scale: A Humongous Photography Exhibition at the Katzen Arts Center at American University. She is represented by Edith Graves, Art Advisor, and is a member of Multiple Exposures Gallery at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA, and Touchstone Gallery in Washington, DC.
