MEG provides many meaningful opportunities for local fine art photographers who become members, including: 

• Regular chances to exhibit work—through solo, two-person, and group shows curated by the gallery.

• Ongoing visibility across MEG’s website, Instagram, Facebook, and promotion to local and regional media.

• Belonging to a community of dedicated fine art photographers, with continual opportunities for artistic exchange and inspiration. 

• Year-round exposure, with members’ work on display and available for sale more than 360 days each year.

• Presence in the Torpedo Factory Art Center, home to 165+ professional artists and attracting over 500,000 visitors annually.

• Hands-on experience in the cooperative management of a successful gallery, including launching exhibitions, marketing, and engaging with art collectors and enthusiasts. 

Membership Availability

When we have or anticipate a vacancy, we issue a call for new members. These calls may be open to the public or by invitation only, depending on our needs.

Open calls are announced on our website, through social media, in announcements to our email list, and through correspondence with those who have indicated interest.
