In May, MEG member Fred Zafran gave a talk through to a rapt audience at Glen Echo Photoworks about “another way of listening” to the photographs we make. Fred, who describes himself as a '“documentary photographer of ordinary things,” helps us understand what makes an image deeply expressive and how a sequence of photographs may achieve exceptional narrative power.
