Multiple Exposures Gallery (MEG) is pleased to present PEDIMENT OF APPEARANCE, a fine art photography exhibition juried and curated by photographer and author Tim Carpenter.

In shaping this exhibition, Carpenter looked for photographs that are defined and contained within the edges rather than fragments pointing to a world beyond. He challenged submitting artists to show him "photographs that you consider—specifically because of the frame—to be entire unto themselves, and not speaking to the wider world.”

From this vision, Carpenter selected 20 works by 10 photographers, creating PEDIMENT OF APPEARANCE, on view at MEG from September 16 through October 12, 2025.
