Statement
In this project I am using aircraft that have been retired from flying as a source of abstract compositions in tone and pattern. The materials, design, and engineering of these artifacts, while intended to be functional above all, and guided by the principles of aerodynamics and physics, can also serve as a source of artistic inspiration. There is a beauty in these machines that I hope to convey through the images in this portfolio.
