IN GRAY | Soomin Ham

September 1 - October 11, 2026

East and West | Soomin Ham

Multiple Exposures Gallery (MEG) presents IN GRAY, Soomin Ham's new fine art photography exhibition that contemplates what it means to have two homes, yet never fully belong to either.

On view September 1 – October 11, 2026, IN GRAY features photographic diptychs and layered images that trace Ham's experiences moving between Korea and the United States. Combining white acrylic with traditional Korean black ink, and juxtaposing landscapes from both halves of her identity, Ham creates images that hover in the space between two worlds. What emerges isn't a clear sense of belonging, but an acceptance of uncertainty and ambiguity. [Read a full statement]‍ ‍
