CURRENT EXHIBITION

AMERICA 250, MEG Group Show Juried by Andy Holtin | July 2 - 26, 2026

Standing Vigil | Maureen Minehan

Multiple Exposures Gallery (MEG) is excited to present AMERICA 250, a fine art photography exhibition exploring the stories, symbols, and spaces that shape our understanding of America.

On view July 2–26, 2026, AMERICA 250 features photographs selected by juror Andy Holtin, chair of the Department of Art at American University in Washington, DC.

“As a juror, I found myself drawn to works that directly engaged with the complications of the stories we build about ourselves, our places, and our history,” Holtin says. “These images highlight, reframe, and gently prod questions about how we view the spaces that are distinctly American, how and whether we consider the quality of Americanness as a person or a place, and how we frame the familiar monuments and imagery that are often a shorthand for both."

Plan your visit: With the exception of July 4th, MEG is open daily from 11am–5pm. Come explore the exhibition in Studio 7 on the first floor of the Torpedo Factory Art Center.
